Sue Hind

Sue has extensive managerial  experience in  the public private and voluntary sectors. She was  appointed a primary deputy head teacher at the age of 26 and worked  in different education authorities as a teacher until 2000. She then worked as the events manager for Open Industry, part of the Industrial Trust.

Sue has in her spare time been District Commissioner of Pendle Forest Pony Club, Ilkley Civic Society Secretary, and District Chairman Rotary NW for New Generations. At present she is on the National Youth Service Committee for Rotary in Britain and Ireland with responsibility for Young Chef and Young Citizens Award, She is Vice President of Ribblesdale Rotary Club,  Trustee of Crossroads Care Ribble Valley, committee member for Clitheroe Community Bonfire with responsibility for press and public relations.

Educated at Basingstoke High School, Sue graduated BEd at Southampton University.

During her marriage to Ken she has obtained a detailed knowledge of the workings of the criminal justice system acting as a main contact point for him in relation to courts, chambers and solicitors. She now takes over this role on a full time basis .
